Alan Ladds

Over the last twenty years Alan has worked with most of the country's leading big bands. While studying at Leeds College of Music, he joined the National Youth Orchestra (NYJO), touring with Shorty Rodgers and John Dankworth as well as concert and studio work with John Williams and Paul Hart. After NYJO, Alan worked with various big bands including Harry Bence and the New Squadronnaires, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra and Andy Ross and the "Come Dancing Orchestra", backing such stars as Bob Hope, The Temptations, Bob Monkhouse, Billy Eckstine, Sammy Davis Jnr and many others.

For several years Alan was a member of The Syd Lawrence Orchestra recording three albums and touring the UK and Europe extensively. Recently Alan has been on the road with productions of "West Side Story" and "Chicago". TV credits include, "A Bit of a do", "Where the heart is", "Come Dancing" and "Peak Practise".
