He has been playing Lead Tenor Sax with Ken Macintosh and his dance band for the last fifteen years, and has more recently been playing sax and flute with Jonnie Wiltshire on a touring show - "The Legends of Swing" which features the music of Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby.

Neil has also played in the Stan Reynolds (ex Ted Heath) Richmond Band and says that he enjoys playing those original arrangements with some of the original band members. He also works regularly with NRO guest Vocaliste Jenny Darren.
