Damon Robb

Damon was born in Stoke-On-Trent and started playing Flute at the age of 11. He continued to study Flute together with Saxophone and Clarinet at the Royal Military School of Music, Knellar Hall.

His professional career has taken him all over the UK and twice around the world with many types of ensemble from Orchestra to Big Band. Damon has also enjoyed a varied career in musical theatre playing on many of the major shows including West Side Story with which he made his West End conducting debut at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Aswell as his playing, Damon teaches woodwind at the London Oratory School and runs the entertainment side of a company called 'ConferEnts Ltd.' which is a personnel and corporate entertainment agency. Damon is delighted to have been be asked to join the NRO and is looking forward to a very busy year.
